Product Description
This product is a single-component room-temperature vulcanizing silicone rubber with excellent thixotropy, high strength, and superior resistance to UV radiation, yellowing, water, moisture, as well as outstanding impact and vibration resistance. It also boasts exceptional insulation performance, making it ideal for sealing the frames of solar modules and bonding junction boxes to back sheets.

It has successfully passed rigorous testing standards both domestically and internationally, including the "Double 85" test, UV resistance test, salt spray test, and dielectric strength test.
◆The product is UL-certified, TUV-certified, inspected by the National Solar Photovoltaic Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, and SGS-certified, meeting the EU’s RoHS environmental directive requirements.
◆ Flame-retardant performance meets UL94HB standard.
Main Uses
Primarily used for bonding solar photovoltaic panels, aluminum alloy frames with battery modules, and junction boxes to back sheets, it also exhibits excellent adhesion to a variety of metal and non-metal materials, including aluminum, copper, and stainless steel, as well as engineering plastics like PC and ABS.
Using the process
1. Surface Pre-treatment: Before bonding, ensure the surfaces to be joined are thoroughly cleaned and dried, free from dust, oil stains, rust, and other contaminants. Suitable solvents include isopropyl alcohol, acetone, or methyl ethyl ketone. For certain olefin-based materials (such as polypropylene, polyethylene, PTFE, etc.), the bonding surfaces may require special treatment or the application of a primer to achieve optimal adhesion results.
2. Applying Adhesive: Cut open the adhesive tube nozzle or remove the aluminum seal, attach the matching adhesive tip, and trim the tip to the desired size. Then, use an adhesive gun or pneumatic dispensing equipment to extrude a continuous, even bead of sealant, followed by quickly closing and assembling the components.
3. Curing: Under room temperature and 50% relative humidity, the adhesive will form a surface skin within 10–20 minutes. Before the surface dries completely, use a blade to scrape off any excess adhesive, ensuring a clean and aesthetically pleasing finish. Then allow it to fully cure.
It is a deep curing process that progresses from the surface inward, with the colloid achieving a curing depth of more than 2.0 mm within 24 hours (at room temperature and 50% relative humidity). In environments with lower temperature and humidity, the curing time should be appropriately extended to ensure that the product's stability and integrity remain unaffected.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place at temperatures below 27°C. The shelf life is 9 months. This product is classified as non-hazardous and can be transported as a standard chemical.
